Year Five Students Shine at National Kids in Space Program Showcase
Last term, our Year 5 students attended the National Kids in Space Program Showcase Event in Melbourne. After months of hard work, students proudly presented their ideas aimed at solving real-world problems in space. The students worked hard to create a model and then 3D print their design for others to see and they created posters to show their learning along the way.
Their presentation skills were outstanding, earning praise from staff members of other schools for their clarity and confidence. The event was not only educational but also inspiring, as students heard from professionals in the space industry and learned more about the possibilities of space exploration. The showcase was a memorable experience that encouraged our young space enthusiasts to dream big and continue their journey in STEM.
It was a day to remember, filled with learning, teamwork, and a lot of fun! A special thank you to Ms McCormack for accompanying us and supporting the team throughout the day. Well done, Year 5! We are incredibly proud of their hard work and enthusiasm!
Some pictures are included of our team on the day as well as them presenting to peers and the judges.
