Week 9
Another big term of sports draws to a close next week. We had a lot to celebrate with AFL 9’s, badminton, state cross country, Netball Victoria school championships, winter sport and more. Thanks to all those people who helped out and a big congratulations to all the students for their hard work this term.
Week 5
AFL 9’s
A new sport added to the primary school calendar to promote footy at grass roots level. We sent a boys and girls team to the central reserve to compete in the colac competition. It was a fantastic day and both teams tried very hard, finishing second for the day to Sacred Heart in both competitions.
Holiday Sports
Volleyball Victoria, in collaboration with Table Tennis Victoria and Squash & Racquetball Victoria, is organising a Joint Sports Holiday Camp at MSAC during the school holidays.
This unique camp will introduce participants to volleyball, table tennis, and squash & racquetball each day they attend. The camp will run for 3 days and is aimed at kids aged 8 to 15 (Grades 3 to 9). The camp will take place from 10 am to 3 pm on the following dates:

Information about the season
When will the season start?
The season begins on the 12th of October and runs through to the 14th or 21st (Confirmation pending) of December before stopping for the summer break. Tennis recommences on the 1st of February and depending upon results will finish on the 15th of March.
What do I as a guardian of a player need to do?
The amount of involvement you have is entirely up to you. If you want to come to every game and umpire that’s great or if you want to drop your player off and pick them up at the end then that’s fine too.
What equipment is needed?
We have a small amount of equipment that we can lend out but a racket and comfortable running shoes are all most players will need to play.
