RSC swimmers represent at Metro East District Junior Selection Trials!

RSC had 29 of our junior 8-11yo swimmers make a splash at the Metro East District Junior Selection Trials last weekend. Swimmers were all competing for a top 10 finish in each event to qualify for a chance to represent Metro East at the upcoming Metro Junior District Comp later this month at MSAC. 

For five of our swimmers, it was their first competitive swim, and they took to it like fish to water!

Our seasoned swimmers achieved impressive results, with 100% securing at least one PB (84% over all events). These amazing results saw 9 RSC swimmers selected to the Metro East District team in 18 events. A big congratulations to Meike C, Sasha L, Daniel Z, Olivia Z, Salome N, Karina Z, Joanne H, Amelia G and Callum K! We are so proud of all of you!

To further add to the success of the meet, a number of our junior swimmers also swam qualification times for the 2025 Victoria Sprint Championships! Fantastic achievements all round!
