GENERAL NEWS

HEADS UP FOR HEAD LICE

We are asking all our families to complete a head lice check.

CAR PICKUPS

To help in ensuring the safety of students and to allow Car Pickups to run efficiently, please ensure that you have a clearly labelled sign displayed in your car windscreen. If you could please ensure that the sign remains visible until your child is in your car, that would be greatly appreciated and will help the process to be as quick as possible.

LOWES

Lowes have written to our school in regards to a price increase on school uniforms; to be implemented in next term. This will be applied as an average of 4.6% across all schoolwear garments.

"This decision was made after a careful analysis of increased: -

  • Production and Distribution costs &
  • Retail Wages.

Lowes are conscious of the impact that this will have on our families. To minimise this, Lowes have kept the increase to the minimum required to maintain their product quality & service levels.

Lowes will continue to offer our regular “20% off” sale days through the year. Lowes will continue to explore alternative production methods to offer cost-saving solutions.

Lowes appreciate their partnership with St Nicholas Primary School, and remain committed to providing affordable, durable, and comfortable uniforms to our students.

They will reach out within the fortnight to provide our school with a list detailing the Current RRP and New RRP, to take affect mid to late Term 4.  In the meantime, please refer to Lowes current pricing online".

UNIFORM

All students will need to be in their full summer uniform by the beginning of Term 4.

Please note that children are expected to wear their hats each day or they will be asked to play in the Undercroft.

SUPERVISION OF STUDENTS

All parents need to be aware, our supervision of students

does not begin until 8.15am each day.

St Nicholas School gates will not be open until the arrival of the first school bus at approximately 8.10am. It is not appropriate for children to be at school before this time with no supervision.

If your child/ren require care before 8.15am you may like to consider before school care here at school with Esteem.
