Specialist Feature News: Science
Selamat Siang,
What a wonderful fortnight we have had in Science!
This fortnight, our Foundation students continued their exploration of the world around us by testing out waterproof materials. Students had a wonderful time learning how to sort materials, use pipettes accurately, draw and label diagrams.
This week, 3/4 students continued their physics and chemistry heat investigation. They explored global warming and the green house effect and replicated the greenhouse effect using glass jars, hairdryers and ice blocks. Students discussed the ways we could reduce global warming and how we can make change for our future.
As the holidays are fast approaching, here are some arts and sustainability activities you might like to take part in in the City of Whitehorse:
Lastly, our specialist teachers have had a fabulous Planning Week, organising amazing activities for Term 4. Stay tuned...!
