BYOD Ipad Program 2025

Each year we partner with Edunet to provide an alternative option for purchasing an Ipad for students. There is no requirement to use the Edunet Parent portal but they do offer payment plans and insurance for devices. They are also able to give delivery timelines, which can be helpful.

Our parent information session will be held on Wednesday 30th October 2024 at 7:30pm via Zoom for parents of 2025 Year 3 students. A link will be sent out to all Grade 2 parents next term.

The portal is available for all families with the aim in supporting our Year 2 families as their children move into Year 3.

Our planning for 2025 is well under way and a major part of this planning relies on student numbers and knowing who will be returning to MPRPS for the 2025 school year. Please notify our Administration team if your intentions are not to return in 2025.

Digital Technologies Review

Our Digital Technologies review is progressing well and has proven a timely exercise, with the Department of Education releasing new guidance this week as well as new policy requirements. Teachers are reviewing iPad expectations in their Planning Days next week, and are exploring the new Digital Technologies curriculum that has been released through the Victorian Curriculum 2.0.

We are excited to invite you all to our Digital Technologies community forum on October 24, from 7:00pm. More information will follow, but please mark the date on your calendar! The following week we will host our BYOD information night for families over Zoom.
