Principal's Message

Term 3 - Week 9

Amongst the excitement of planning for term four, this week saw a brilliant Guided Inquiry incursion for the 3/4s, and an innovative GI showcase for the 5/6s. We are looking forward to an exciting final week of term, with our Junior Guided Inquiry Olympics incursion on Wednesday, and our Footy Colours dress-up day on Friday. Don't forget that students will be dismissed at 2:30pm on Friday the 20th. OSH is open for all of your after-school care and holiday care needs!

Tournament of Minds

A HUGE congratulations to our Arts Tournament of Minds team Nicha C, Ava M, Xavier H, Archer F, Jude M, Aaliyah J & Wendy W, led by Ros Walker and Kathy Wang, who represented MPRPS at the ToM State Championships on Sunday. The team was tasked with undertaking a spontaneous challenge around how the Arts can support people to regulate their emotions. The team put in an amazing effort and were rewarded by receiving HONOURS by the judging panel.  Well done, team!

District Athletics

We were absolutely thrilled to take 60 of our students to compete in the District Athletics last Tuesday. As always, they demonstrated outstanding team spirit and unwavering support for one another throughout the day. Every student should be incredibly proud of their accomplishments!

A special congratulations goes out to the 18 students from Years 3-6 who have advanced to the Division Athletics. We are confident that they will represent MPRPS with great pride, and we eagerly anticipate hearing about their continued successes.

Specialist Learning Programs

As a part of the Framework for Improving Student Outcomes, we regularly evaluate our learning programs to suit the needs of our students and our community. As such, we are seeing feedback on our Language Other Than English (LOTE) instruction. Our Indonesian cultural and language program has been expertly provided by Bu Marissa Mundy for many years. Looking to the future, we want to seek some feedback on what language may serve our diverse and growing community best. Please take a moment to fill out this survey before the end of term on Friday September 20:
