Three-Year-Olds

Dharug - This week we have continued our hands-on learning about magnetism by exploring the ways that magnets work in some of our favourite resources at kinder. 

Threading beads onto string has also been an ongoing interest for some time, and is such an incredible activity for building fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. This week children were invited to make their own designs to take home using paper straws and decorative paper. 

Four-Year-Olds

The Budja class have had such a fun week. For stay and play we had a parent come and do face painting on the children’s hands. They got to pick their designs and they looked absolutely amazing! We participated in the whole school buddy program Wednesday morning, pairing up with the grade 4’s and making spider crowns.

The Marram class had a busy week. We introduced the Magic Milk science experiment as a group learning activity, and the children then engaged in exploring this individually with enthusiasm and focus. We also had photo day on Thursday, capturing wonderful class photos and individual photos. 

In Gawarn, we have had an incredibly focused week- with a focus on learning with group games, turn-taking activities and literacy awareness.
