We extend our congratulations to Emily on this well-deserved honour and wish her continued success in her netball endeavours.

CWWHSSA Hockey Competition
In Term 3, the CWWHSSA Hockey competition ran over three weeks. The Girl's team went through the group stage undefeated, winning 6-0 against KHS, 2-0 against TRAC, 3-0 against MDCC and drawing 0-0 against WWHS. This saw them in the final against WWHS. The final was a hard-fought contest, with neither side able to break the deadlock. Normal time finished 0-0. The game went to run-ins, with Kildare converting all 4 and goalkeeper Grace Holaj saving 2. Kildare won 4-2. This is the first win for Kildare since 2004.
Special mention goes to Milla Bailey, the team's top goals scorer with 5 goals, along with Alexis Bailey, Maddison Curtis and Brianna Elphnick for their leadership on the field.
Congratulations girls.

Years 7-9 League Tag
On Thursday 19th of September, Kildare competed in the Years 7-9 League Tag Gala Day. The girls won both of their pool games against Junee High School (16-0) and TRAC (16-0), resulting in them finishing on top of their pool and playing against West Wyalong in the quarter-finals.
The girls continued to perform strongly and played outstanding in attack, winning this game 30-0. They then progressed to the semifinals against Temora High School and again came out victorious (10-4). Likewise, to the previous games that the girls had played, they continued to demonstrate outstanding communication, teamwork and skills. This was no different when the girls played against McAuley Tumut in the grand final. After a tough game of back and forth, the scores were level at full time, with the victory going to the first-try scorer, which unfortunately was not us.
