Exploring ancestral homelands

FN Daystar (Revesby, NSW) Principal, Michael Sleiman, has been exploring his ancestral homeland of Lebanon, sharing his daily discoveries with friends and colleagues at First National. 

Just before heading home last week, he made a final trip to the village where his father was born and his family grew up. When he looked at the date, he realised his visit to Kfar Habou had coincided with his father’s birth, 96 years ago.

‘I have no doubt he would be super happy knowing I was in his birthplace on his birthdate,’ said Michael.

‘God Bless you Dad. The very difficult move you made many years ago has giving me, my siblings and our children the life we live today in beautiful Australia, and now I see the beauty of Lebanon.’

Principal of FN Townsville (QLD), Terry Godde said it was a proud moment for the Godde and Rose households when Katherine Godde was admitted to the Royal College of General Practitioners.

FN Tamworth (NSW) Co-Principals Margo Taggart and David Doherty are celebrating some significant local recognition, having won the Tamworth Business Chamber’s Excellence in Professional Services award. 

Now in its 40th year, the Quality Business Awards are Tamworth’s most trusted awards program and attracted over 800 people from all corners of the business community.

Recognition at REIWA awards

Western Australian members enjoyed REIWA’s night of nights recently, with several offices winning awards or being finalists. 

FN Hedland (Port Hedland) won fourth place in the Top Small Office by Listings Sold’ category and FN Druitt Saunders took third place in the ‘Top Office by Lowest Median Days on Market.
