Year 6 Camp - Kangaroo Island

In Week 3, the Year 6 students went to Kangaroo Island for their three-night camp. We caught the Ferry at Cape Jervis and enjoyed a calm journey across the ocean. Once we reached Penneshaw we had some lunch and drove to our first activity.

We visited the Living Honey Farm and learned all about bees and their importance. Then we made our way to Prospect Hill where we had an uninterrupted view of the island and the highest point on Kangaroo Island.

Over the next three days, we visited many amazing places on the Island. We explored rock pools, saw how erosion and weathering can create remarkable rock formations, and even got close to feathered and scaly animal friends.

LEGO®️ Masters Competition

Last week our Junior school students competed in the annual Lego Masters Competition. Students from all ages displayed their own builds on Thursday and Friday outside the Junior School classrooms. Students enjoyed looking at the many fantastic creations before voting for their favourite builds.

Congratulations to the winners!

A big thank you to our Year 6 Leaders for organising this fun event for students!
