Kindy - Science
This week, Kindergarten participated in their first incursion with the rangers from ‘Ranger Jamie’. Kindergarten investigated the physical characteristics of objects and how they move such as bouncing, flying, jumping, rolling and sliding in a variety of hands-on learning activities.
Slime Bonanza - Kindergarten LOVED getting their hands all dirty and slimy while creating their very own slime. Students investigated the changing shape of the special slime by applying a force to it such as squashing and stretching it.
Air Pressure Rockets – Kindergarten designed and built their very own rocket before launching their spacecraft into the sky. Students watched in awe as they witnessed their rockets roar into the sky.
Billy Cart Championships – Students raced against each other, observing how push and pull energy controls the movement of billy carts. There were lots of smiles and squeals of excitement.
