National Volunteer

Week for Australia

Celebrate National Volunteer Week

Get ready to inspire and be inspired! From May 20-26, Australia celebrates National Volunteer Week, and we're excited to spotlight the wonderful contributions of our volunteers. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone at Toro Australia to share and celebrate the spirit of volunteerism.

We're calling on all our volunteers to come forward and share your stories. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or just starting, we want to hear from you! This is your chance to showcase your impact and perhaps inspire a fellow team member to start their own volunteer journey.

Here’s how you can participate:

- Email Franciele Giacomel -  Franciele.Giacomel@toro.com.

- Include your name, where you volunteer, and your contact details.

- Feel free to attach any photos or additional information about your volunteering.

Your stories will be showcased in our upcoming edition of "In The Loop," enabling other employees to connect with you, whether they're interested in joining your efforts or seeking advice about volunteering.

Let’s strengthen our community together. Your story has the power to motivate and encourage a culture of helping and giving back.

Why volunteer?

“Volunteering is associated with better perceived mental health and quality of life. Volunteering correlates with greater self-assessed psychological wellbeing, self-esteem, happiness, and satisfaction with life, with lower symptoms of depression and anxiety, and with lower indicators of suicide risk.”

“Being a volunteer has lots of benefits. It can bring meaning and purpose to your life, while increasing your self-esteem and wellbeing. Volunteering can also relieve stress, and alleviate symptoms of depression. As well as having a positive impact on your community, volunteering can improve your relationships.”
