1/2 Classroom News

Aged Care:

We brought games to play. We played the games with the Aged Care residents. I played memory with Dawn. It was lots of fun - Sophie K. 

I played Uno with the residents. We were using blocks to build. I helped Wayne build a crane. It was amazing - Milla. 

I played noughts and crosses with Patty. I like going to the Aged Care because I get to see other people - Emma. 

Maths:

In Maths we are doing bar graphs.  We did tally marks to collect data about our favourite fruits. We then made a bar graph using our data - Xavier.

We are learning about graphs. We had to go around and ask people "What is your favourite fruit?". Then we had to use tally marks to see which one had the most. Then we created a graph - Allie. 

Home Readers:

Just an update on reading expectations. Readers are changed each Monday but can be changed more frequently if required. All students have a diary that will be checked and for each night of reading students will be rewarded 'Ronny Points'.  Decodable readers and other texts have been sent home with your child to read. If you have any questions please ask.
