Colour Explosion School Run 4 Fun – A Huge Success!

Today was the big day—and what a day it was! The Colour Explosion School Run 4 Fun took place this afternoon, and it was a huge success. The energy, colour, and excitement on the oval were unforgettable. Students from all year levels participated with enthusiasm, running through clouds of coloured powder, navigating fun obstacles, and sharing lots of laughter with classmates and teachers.
Thank you to all the students who wore their white shirts proudly and brought the event to life with their positivity and team spirit. The addition of rainbow sunglasses and headbands made for a fantastic splash of colour and lots of happy faces.
A massive thank you to the PFA (Parents and Friends Association) for their amazing efforts in organising and coordinating this event. From fundraising and logistics to volunteer coordination and prize preparation, their dedication ensured everything ran smoothly and joyfully.
Thanks to our incredible community, we’ve already raised over $34,000, with donations still open until 11:59pm tonight. The funds raised will go toward the much-needed renovation of B Block, preparing additional Year 5/6 classrooms ready for 2026. Our target is $40,000—so if you haven’t had the chance to donate, there’s still time! You can support the cause by visiting https://myprofilepage.com.au or donating directly at the school office.
Highlights from the day included:
- 1/2, 3/4, and 5/6 students (with their Foundation buddies) running the colourful course in class groups.
- Slime Time, where lucky students who raised $20 or more got the chance to slime a teacher—easily one of the most memorable moments of the day!
- Students supporting each other, teachers joining in the fun, and parents cheering from the sidelines.
Families were warmly welcomed to come and spectate, and it was wonderful to see so many in attendance, creating a true community feel.
Important Reminders:
- Prize selections can be made online between May 24th and 31st via your fundraising profile.
- For students who prefer not to claim a physical prize, there are fantastic donation options supporting organisations like The Smith Family, OzHarvest, and Dolly’s Dream.
This event is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of fun, fitness, friendship, and community. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, donated, cheered, and supported our students.
Here’s to colour, kindness, and community spirit!
