Be The Person Who Offered To Help

Be the person who offered to help.

Be the person who accepts help that is offered.

In the Bible reading (Mark 2:1-12) at chapel this week we had the account of the friends who brought their paralysed friend to Jesus to be healed. It is a great message about doing whatever it takes for people that need our help.

The other side of that is learning to accept help when it is offered. And that is a huge thing that goes against our culture of “putting on a brave face” and “making do”. Yet it is so very important and a Biblical teaching to lower your pride, admit there is a problem, and accept help to make things right.

So go and help. Go and BE helped!

God bless you.
