Garden Fun

Some of our Connect groups have been working hard in the garden to redevelop our veggie patch and plant some citrus trees. Students are learning the basics of growing our own herbs and vegetables, and the maintenance required. Thank you to Bunnings for their donation of herb and veggie seedlings, passionfruit vines, and two citrus trees.

Food Share Program

Next week, we are excited to be beginning work again with the Food Share Program. This collaboration will see our groups developing a community garden where herbs and veggies will be grown and donated to local agencies who support those in need. It’s one of our favourite organisations to support and the kids love getting down there and working with other community members. Watch this space for updates!

Templeton Tennis Club Trivia Night

We would like to show our support for the Templeton Tennis Club, who provide us with a Connect Award with a prize of a term of free tennis lessons. Money raised will fund the continued support of the Connect Award. On the Sat 9 of August, the club will be holding a fundraiser trivia night. The evening will run from 7-11pm at Templeton Tennis Club, 43-63 Templeton Street, Wantirna.

Tickets are on sale for $15 per person, or book a table of 8 for $100.

If you can’t make it but would like to contribute, we are collecting donations for the silent auctions and raffles on the night. Please drop your donations into the Connect Room, or reach out to the team to discuss.
