Our annual school market is a magical event that brings the whole community together for the school’s biggest fundraiser. Think of how you can help. Can you make, create, bake, donate, or volunteer your time?  Let's all make this the best and most magical market yet!

 

VOLUNTEER ROSTER IS LIVE

The hottest gossip on the basketball court is that the volunteer roster for our magical market has gone live. Signing up to do a shift on stalls is the easiest way to get involved and support our biggest school event to run smoothly. Grab your friends and sign up to do a shift on a stall together. There are many areas that all need volunteers so jump on fast so you don’t miss out on your preference.

STALL LEADS - we are still looking for a number of stall leads. Leads will be supported by the market team and can be done with a friend or partner if preferred. PUT YOUR HAND UP ASAP (before the end of term) IF YOU CAN LEAD;

PRE-SALE RIDE TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW!

The pre-purchase wristband provides unlimited access to rides and reduces queues for tickets on the day. Get the kids excited!  *Concession - if your family is in receipt of CSEF funds held at the school, please choose the concession option on the ticket link below.

  • $35 each pre-sale, unlimited access to Ninja Stunt Jump and Special Ops Obstacle Course (ages 5+), Meltdown (ages 10+) , Chair-O-Plane and Petting Zoo (for those bigger kids who still love an animal cuddle)*

PROMOTIONAL LETTERBOX DROP 

During the last week of the school term, we will have A5 letterbox flyers available to collect from the office. Please grab yourself a stack and do a letterbox drop on your street and surrounds over the school holidays. We will let you know via SENTRAL when these will be available and include a list of required streets.

 

SECONDHAND DONATION DROP-OFF IS OPEN!

 

We welcome and appreciate your donations to the second-hand market. A ‘drop off station’ is set up outside the main building entrance on Culloden Street (undercover). Please ensure that things are bagged/boxed up well so that items do not fly away if there is wind. If you’re planning an op shop run or a visit to a pre-love store, please keep your goods aside instead for the school market! 

 

SECONDHAND CLOTHES

Yes please! Adult’s clothes and shoes in clean and wearable condition. Popular items include vintage items, jackets and well-known labels – items that will spark joy (as per Marie Kondo). Please ensure you wash all items prior to donation.

No thank you! Underwear, pyjamas or children's clothes (we are just doing adults this year). Any items that have holes or stains. If you feel uncomfortable giving them to your friends, please do not donate to your market friends.

SECONDHAND TOYS & GAMES

Yes please! Toys and games that work and that have all their pieces such as, complete board games and puzzles secured with tape. Kids ‘dress up’, sporting goods, good condition bikes/ scooters, dolls, soft toys, cars, trains etc. Toys that you would be thrilled to find in an op shop! 

No thank you! Broken or damaged toys that are missing bits and pieces. No helmets or mains powered toys please

 

SECONDHAND BOOKS & VINYL

Yes please! Adult and children’s books for all ages. Kids’ books are a huge hit! Good condition vinyl – please ensure that vinyl is not scratched.

 HANDMADE MAKERS MARKET – APPLY NOW

 

Applications are now open for local artists and creative makers to purchase a spot on one of our stalls to sell your handmade art and wares. We have already had some interest from stall holders that have attended our previous Winter Magic Market and the calibre is high, but we are still looking for more. If you would like to register your interest please email the market team at market@brunswicknwps.vic.gov.au or complete the application form HERE

 

- CRITERIA – all handmade art and design-based products are welcome to apply. Please ensure you provide examples of your product. Photographs, links to websites and socials are required so that applications can be reviewed on the quality of their work, uniqueness to the market and product mix on display. *No imported/mass produced goods, alcoholic beverages or perishable/fresh produce please.

 

ART & SILENT AUCTION 

 

 

BNWPs Art Auction showcases the wonderful talent from both budding and established artists within the school community. If you would like to be involved, everyone is welcome, and all donations will be gratefully accepted. All kinds of creative works are accepted from adults and children alike. 

 

Some ideas include:

  • Paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, collages, photography, textiles, quilts, and jewellery
  • Works on paper – unframed is fine but please use good quality paper or frame your work with a new or recycled frame.

 

This year we are introducing a Silent Auction to the market. Can you or someone you know donate? Whether you own a business, have a great contact, or even have something special at home to donate, the Auction is looking for a variety of bid-worthy items.

  • A fabulous product or voucher that showcases your brand or business
  • Donations of service or classes - pilates, massage, beauty treatments, art classes
  • A getaway somewhere - a beach house, farm stay, or a ‘staycation’ 
  • A dining experience – vouchers for restaurants/cafes, catering packages
