From the Year 2 Classroom

It has been a busy time in Year 2! 

We had a fabulous time at Twisted Science last Wednesday. The students thoroughly enjoyed exploring the many wonderful activities, listening to Kathy, the scientist on site about all things 'Push and Pull', as well as the Light film in the aerodrome. 

This week we are continuing our persuasive reading and writing in our Literacy lessons. In Maths we are finishing our learning on fractions and going onto looking at transformation of shape. Next Thursday we will finish up our History Inquiry unit with a historical walk around Yarrawonga. 

We are looking forward to the Athletics Day this Friday. The students have been training hard in PE and can't wait to cheer their teams on. Please remember to make sure your child has a drink bottle and maybe some extra snacks on Friday.

With the warmer weather, this is just a reminder that all students need to wear a hat at recess and lunch. Please ensure your child's hat is named for ease of identification if misplaced.
