Principals Report
It is hard to believe we are nearing the end of term 3. It has been a fabulous term, and I am grateful for all the engagement and support of our school community. I wish you all a happy holiday.
It was a pleasure to see so many families at our breakfast this morning. Such events are invaluable for fostering connections within our school community. The morning was filled with joy and laughter, providing a delightful start to the day. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to our exceptional canteen manager Elise for the delicious catering, to the Tungamah Lions Club for their assistance with cooking the sausages, to Yarra Health for supplying the fruit, to Yarrawonga Woolworths for providing the sausages and bread, Mulwala FNC and Yarrawonga Lakers for the loaning of their pie warmers and finally to Shaz for her outstanding organization and coordination. Lastly, I want to thank all Sacred Heart staff members for their efforts in ensuring the event ran smoothly and for making our guests feel warmly welcomed and cared for.
School sports tomorrow. Another fantastic opportunity to come into school and cheer on your child / children and house teams.
As we approach the end of Term 3, I would like to remind families of the importance of fulfilling school fee commitments. All outstanding fees from previous years, along with the 2024 fees, are due by the end of this term. We understand that circumstances can sometimes make it challenging to meet these commitments, so I encourage any families needing assistance to please contact me directly. We are here to support you, and I’m happy to discuss payment arrangements.
Just a reminder: The first day back for term 4 is a pupil free day in preparation of our whole school learning and teaching review which will take place 8 – 10th October.
Have a wonderful week
