Buongiorno a tutti!

Something that I love is when students read a text that they haven't seen before and sight read it using their knowledge of vowel sounds and other grammatical rules they are familiar with.  That's what the Grade 5's did recently when they were given the next chapter of Avanti to read!  This tests their Italian and also their understanding.  The expression used in their reading helps me know if they understand what they are reading and most of the time, they do!  I love this video clip of this Grade 5 group reading.  At their age, this is truly an accomplishment they should be proud of.  I know I am!
