Dear Students, Staff, and Families,
As we reach the end of another busy and productive term, I want to take a moment to reflect on and celebrate the achievements of our school community. This term has been filled with learning, growth, and a myriad of activities that have brought us together as a school.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our dedicated staff who have worked tirelessly to provide an engaging and supportive learning environment for our students. Your commitment and passion are truly the backbone of our school, and it shows in the progress and successes of our students.
To our wonderful students, thank you for your enthusiasm, resilience, and eagerness to learn. You continue to inspire us with your hard work and kindness. Whether it's been in the classroom, on the sports field, or through various school events, you have shown what it means to be a part of our school community.
To our parents and carers, thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Your involvement and encouragement play a crucial role in our school's success. We greatly appreciate the trust you place in us to guide your children on their educational journey.
As we head into the break, I encourage everyone to take this time to rest and recharge. Enjoy the holidays with family and friends, and return ready for the new term, which promises to be filled with exciting opportunities and continued growth.
Thank you all for your contributions to making this term a success. I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in the coming term.
Wishing you all a safe and enjoyable holiday break!
Matt

“Hats On!” at St Francis - At St Francis Primary School, our SunSmart Policy notes that all children will be required to wear school broad brimmed hats from ‘Hats On Day’- September 1 to ‘Hats Off Day’ - May 1 whenever they are outside including sports lessons. However, if the UV is 3 or above it is recommended hats be worn for protection. Children without hats will be required to play in the undercover shaded areas at all times during recess and lunch.
A reminder to families that children are supervised by teachers at St Francis from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm each day. Teachers are rostered for yard duty before school, at recess and lunchtime, and after school. Children should not be arriving to school prior to 8:30am.
If children have not been picked up by 3:30pm in the afternoon, they will be waiting in the Administration Area.
