This week during STEM, the students have been extending their coding skills by programming small robots. This has required them to use language, problem-solving, creativity and teamwork.
We have started off with Beebots, which are a kind of robot that can understand basic location commands. These commands include: forwards, backwards, turn left and turn right.
Students have used coloured cards to represent their code, whilst others used iPads to control digital versions of the Beebots.
Here are some photographs of the students from P-6 using the Beebots to navigate masking-tape mazes.
