Hello wonderful PSS team!  The end of Term 3 is almost here as we arrive in week 9!

 

Transitions

Thanks so much to everyone who has been using the visual prompts to support students.  I have seen how successful they are in enabling our students to become increasingly independent during transitions.

 

Yearbooks

There are only a few days remaining to ensure that your blurb has been completed and then uploaded to the T drive by 13.09.24.

 

IEPs

Hopefully your goals are well on the way to being completed. If you have any questions about writing your students' goals, please don't hesitate to reach out.

 

CTM 

A huge thankyou to everyone who has populated your CTM minutes with students' learning goals ready for discussion at your meeting.  If you'd like me to act as a norm monitor, timekeeper, or note-taker, just let me know.  Additionally, think about how you can use your CTMs in Semester 2 to collaborate on updating Student Profiles and discussing progress towards IEP goals.

 

Production - Week 9

  • Our dress rehearsal slot is this Thursday 9:30-10:00.  Please look out for an announcement of the running order.  I am supporting a number of rooms on stage - please let me know if this is something I can help your room with.

Excursions

All excursions have now been finalised and approved!  Please ensure you remain on top of the excursion to do list ahead of time.  Be sure permission has been given by parents, the activity locator lodged and transport as well as staffing considered.  I urge you to touch base with both myself and the admin staff in the weeks leading up to the excursion to ensure you have a second set of eyes over documentation, and a sounding board to assist in planning and coordination of the excursion.

 

Term 3 Assemblies

Please note: if the CLH is unavailable, the assembly will be held by the room for that week in their own classroom and shared through Webex.  If you choose to hold your assembly from your classroom, please send a Webex link by Wednesday of that week.  You will also need to ask a staff member to host from the CLH if available.  I would recommend assigning team members as 'Co-hosts' in case of IT issues.

 

I will send an email next week regarding the Term 4 roster.
