Science - Learning

Mrs Foley

What an incredible and action-packed term it has been in the world of science!

Our little Prep scientists have been on an exciting journey, exploring the fascinating world of motion! Through engaging activities involving pushes and pulls, they have been observing, reflecting, and enthusiastically sharing their thoughts and ideas.

Meanwhile, our Year 1/2 scientists have been captivated by the wonders of light, sound, and heat energy! Using their senses, they have been conducting investigations and discovering different ways to record their data and observations.

In the 3/4 classes, our curious scientists have been diving deep into the realm of forces and their impact on object movement. Encouraged to ask questions, explore, and conduct experiments, they have been actively expanding their understanding of this captivating topic.

Not to be outdone, our 5/6 scientists have been delving into the realm of energy, exploring its various forms and how it can be transferred and transformed. They have even had the opportunity to participate in self-guided experiments using our brand new Snap Circuits, taking their understanding to a whole new level!

It has been so lovely to witness the enthusiasm and growth of our young scientists this term and I'm excited to see what discoveries we can make in term 4!

Stay curious and keep exploring!
