End of Term

As we come to the end of the term we reflect on the term that has been and the term that is to come. Ever since I started at Trinity this year, I have been overwhelmed with the beautiful sense of community Trinity has. Such a wonderfully inclusive, welcoming and kind community.

The concept of community is rooted in our shared responsibility towards one another. In the Bible, we are urged by God to look after both our friends and even those we might consider 'enemies'. It's crucial to emphasise the significance of nurturing our bonds and actively working towards creating a community founded on love through our words and deeds. This fosters a sense of belonging and support for all members of the Trinity Community.

Even when things go wrong, I encourage you to remember what Matthew wrote in his Gospel as words from Jesus: "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them".

Dear Heavenly Father,

As the end of term approaches, we seek Your guidance and blessings. May Your light continue to shine upon us, illuminating our minds and hearts with wisdom and understanding. Grant us the strength to face challenges and the courage to embrace new experiences.

As we prepare for the holiday break, we ask for Your protection over each member of our school family. Watch over us, both near and far, as we embark on journeys and adventures. Guide our steps and bring us safely back together when the time is right.

During this time of rest, may we find moments of joy, peace, and reflection. May our hearts be filled with gratitude for the connections we have forged and the knowledge we have gained. Let this break be a time of renewal and rejuvenation, so we may return with a refreshed spirit, eager to continue our pursuit of knowledge and growth.

We offer this prayer in unity, as one school community, bound by a shared love for learning and a deep reverence for Your divine presence.

In Your holy name, we pray.

Amen.
