Year 9 HSIE

HSIE classes have been busy with the start of the new curriculum year this term. Year 9 students are currently studying Geography with the key topic of Sustainable Biomes where they look at our environment and see how the plants and animals change based on variables like the climate.  

Miss Elliott's 9HSE1 class went outside last week to look at the climate and interpret climate graphs - a key skill all geographers need in their tool belts. Here are some pictures of the young geographers hard at work. 

Year 8 and Year 10 students are busy being historians as they look at events like the Viking Expansion and the history of rights and freedoms. The HSIE faculty cannot wait to see what these students produce with their first round of assessments early next term.
