Grade 3

This term has been HUGE for Year 3! We've covered Narratives and Poetry, Fractions and Time, Decimals and Clauses - the list is endless! We had a super fun time during Book Week, become scientists for a while during Science Week and learnt how to be safe during Child Safety Week. A break is going to be well deserved after some hectic weeks!

Due to it being so busy at the end of the term, some classes will be finishing their Inquiry Projects during Week 1 of Term 4. Your child might come home and request that some supplies be brought to school for this reason, so that they can create their amazing inventions.

We hope everyone has an excellent break, and returns to school next term refreshed and ready to get stuck into it! A reminder that students are required to wear hats outside in Term 4, so to make sure they get packed into school bags for the first day back!

Have a wonderful break!

From The Year 3 Team.

Science Week:

During Science Week, the Year 3 Students attended the JollyBops Science Incursion. They learnt about the ingenious connections to Science, including flight, heat and sound. Some students had the opportunity to play some instruments at the end to create a beautiful song!

Grade 4

Well done everyone! We made it through Term 3!

It certainly has been a busy last 2 weeks of the term and it's been lovely seeing the warmer weather show its face. The Year 4s have spent the last 2 weeks practising, filming and editing their puppet shows. This has been a great lesson in team work, creativity and use of technology. Our puppets also were put on display during Science Week - we hope you enjoyed the expo put on by the Science Committee.

Next term, our Inquiry Unit will be focused on The Great Barrier Reef and we are looking forward to the School Production. The term starts back on Monday 2nd October and, being Term Four, the students will need to remember to wear their hats everyday. Please make sure they are named.

We hope you have a restful and relaxing holiday break. Stay safe!

From the Year Four Team.
