From the College Chaplain

Another Term has come and gone!

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the hard work of this year's Senior Years worship and mission captains. They have truly excelled in their roles this year, working cohesively as a team. Their dedication and commitment have been remarkable.

One of their major tasks was organizing chapel in term 2, but they went above and beyond by also taking charge of term 3. Speaking in front of their peers about faith can be a nerve-wracking experience, and they have all extended themselves, just as it says in 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV): "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace” these students utilised the gifts God has bestowed upon them to spread His word to the senior years' community.

To our Year 12 worship and mission captains, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for all that you have accomplished. As Year 12 students have completed all their assessments and are now gearing up for exams, it's important to recognize their significant contributions to chapel over the years. This current Year 12 group even choreographed dance moves for some of our most beloved worship songs, which continue to be a source of joy and inspiration today. A dedicated core group among them played a vital role in crafting the college prayer, which will stand as a lasting legacy. As they embark on their future journeys and exams, may God walk with them, granting them success in their exams and beyond. Remember Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

To the parents of Year 12 students, congratulations on nearing the finish line. Your unwavering love and support have been instrumental in their growth. Please continue to stand by their side as they step into this new phase of life.

So these holidays, may God's blessings be upon you all, providing safety and joy during this time of togetherness.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
