Spring Festival

Friday 15 September 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Our Spring Festival is coming up next week! A whole school and community event that would not be possible without P&C funding.

A big thank you to our Festival committee and parents/carers’ support over the year, that have assisted us to make this happen.

Tokens & wristbands for stalls & rides are available now via our Qkr! App before the day, so you can maximise your fun & not be waiting in queues.

The P&C are needing helpers at our stand, so we can rotate and all have a chance to take part in the festival fun.

If you are able to assist us on the day, please reach out if you are able to help us via dojo/seesaw to your student’s teacher, the school office or direct to our email address ofpspc@gmail.com.

P&C Meeting

P&C News

Our Father’s Day stall was a great success in providing our students with the opportunity to shop for their loved ones. We hope you enjoyed your day. Of course we couldn’t do this without the generosity of our parent and grandparent volunteers giving up their time on the day. A very big thank you for your time, we appreciate you greatly! (I am sorry if I missed you in the photos!)

A big thank you to Oak Flats Newsagency and Natalie Husson - Body Shop consultant, for their very generous donations, we are so very appreciative of your support and donations.

Fortunately this year, we were able to have lucky door gifts for EACH year - how awesome! Congratulations to our lucky door winners!

  • Preschool - Hazel F
  • Kindergarten - Charlotte C
  • Year 1 - William S
  • Year 2 - Wynter H
  • Year 3 - Jayla L
  • Year 4 - Brodie  R
  • Year 5 - Cooper B
  • Year 6 - Alyssa W

Also a very big thank you to our Year 6 helpers on the day too (including Marley S. who missed the photo opportunity) and to PEAK for accommodating us in the hall, and to Ms Niedermayer and our P&C committee for helping us to set up.

Did you know that our Health School Approved canteen is run by our P&C?

Without a committee and our dedicated canteen staff, we would not be able to provide such a fantastic service. Many schools don’t have a canteen at all, or have very limited services. At Oak Flats Public School, we are very fortunate that our School can benefit in so many ways because of what we do.

Our small but mighty P&C team have organised some great events and fundraisers so far this year! Every bit of help counts and we would love to see some new faces pop in to meetings to give their ideas and contribute, or volunteer at our events. We have a few office bearers moving on next year too, and are hoping to show new members the ropes before it’s time for us to move on!

Many hands make light work.

If you have any enquiries, please reach out by either calling the school office or emailing us at ofpspc@gmail.com.
