Seaford Seniors Morning Tea

July 24 - Seaford Community Centre

The Year 8 band performed for Peta Murphy MP in July as she held the first Seaford Senior’s morning Tea to take place since the pandemic. The band was well received and provided an entertaining set of songs which included a fantastic rendition of the 70’s hit, 25 or 6 to 4. It was a fabulous experience for our band to experience their first performance to an audience of over 100.

We wish to thank Peta for her continued support of our music program.

The Little Mermaid

Patterson-River’s production of ‘The Little Mermaid’ was an outstanding success. Over three days, our talented cast and crew performed to over one thousand audience members.  They were spectacular from start to finish and we are so incredibly proud of what they achieved.

Our amazing cast took us on an adventure in the mythical kingdom under the sea. Each rehearsal was lively, busy, and fun filled. Friendships were made, lines learnt, songs sung, dances choreographed, and costumes fitted. Most importantly every student took the opportunity to develop their talents and share the joy of Musical Theatre.

Congratulation to all our creative students, you have wonderful memories to treasure for ever.

Thank you to everyone who came along and watched the show.  We greatly appreciate your support.

The 31st Annual

Spring Concert

The Spring Concert is a celebration of the wonderful achievements of the music students at Patterson River. With over 150 students performing and an audience of over 450, the concert was enjoyed by all.

The program was indeed varied and included Junior, Year 8, Senior & Stage Bands; VCE groups; Voice, Brass, Percussion & Woodwind ensembles, and Choir. Each group presented a varied program displaying their ability to perform in a variety of styles.

Congratulations to our wonderful musicians who practiced consistently to present an enjoyable evening of music. We look forward to your progress throughout your time at Patterson River.

To our Year 12 VCE music students, we have enjoyed working with you over the past six years. Your music has brought us great joy and make our rehearsals enjoyable and memorable. “So, I say, thank you for the music, for giving it to me”.

Best wishes: Mali Goggin, Flynn Martin, Ruth Littler, Lyenora Lawrie & Ben Fu.
