Need to Know

A big congratulations to all involved in Chicago, and the State Schools Spectacular.   Our students and staff worked incredibly hard over a period of months to produce memorable and highly professional performances.

The Year 10 Ski Camp was fortunate to enjoy some great skiing conditions last week and came back happy, but tired, campers.

All the best to the Year 11 students heading off to Central Australia for the first week of the school holidays.

How wonderful to see some spring weather just in time for the spring holidays.  Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing break.

From the Captains

Hey guys! Hope you have all been well.

As the term comes to an end, ChangeforChange finishes up. We are so beyond proud of how our community has gone, and are so excited to donate all the money ($2110!!!)  to Ronald McDonald House Charity. Congratulations to 10G who won the pizza lunch, for raising the most money as a class!!!

Our production of Chicago has sadly come to an end, in which gained a lot of publicity and even a standing ovation. Congratulations to everyone involved! Quite a few of our leadership team will begin helping out in StudentWorx, in which is a student led production that the Performing Arts captains have complete control over. This gives them and the other senior students involved an opportunity to take charge in different performing arts domains, and we are excited to begin the process.

Thank you for all your hard work this term, and we look forward to what we can achieve next. Rest up over the holidays, and enjoy your break! As usual, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Regional Athletics Championships

[9/6 4:21 PM] Erin MILTON

On Wednesday August 30th we had students from Year 7 to 12 compete in the Regional Athletics Championships at Meadowglen Athletics Track. We had athletes in a range of different events, excluding high jump and hurdles as they were cancelled and postponed to a later date. We had 10 athletes win their event or multiple events to qualify for State Championships on October 16th. We also had 5 relay teams with 2 teams qualifying for State Champs, the Girls 17 Team (Annalise Jones, Charlee Dickson, Vanessa Smith and myself) and the Boys 18 Team (Saxon Howkins, Callum James, Harley Gilbertsumner and Kye Wassell). I know Miss Milton, Mr Ericson and every other teacher are so proud of each and every athlete for going out there in the horrible cold wet conditions and competing. I wish all my fellow athletes best of luck at State Champs.
