MC Students had a great experience going to a supported multisport day at 'Sport UNE' in Armidale. Students enjoyed six short sessions of different sports assisted by community experts. We had a wonderful day and the students really enjoyed themselves. Thanks to Ms Judi Lane for organising the excursion.

There were many highlights of our Multisport day: football, indoor golf, bocce and netball. The staff enjoyed the weather and comradery. It was nice to catch up with other local students, GIPS staff and old friends. The atmosphere at UNE's Sports Complex was friendly and positive. People were empathetic and encouraging.

On Tuesday the 29th of August we went on an excursion to the UNE multi sports day. We did 6 sports with 2 breaks for recess and lunch, the first two we played were netball and hockey, between recess and lunch we played boccia then mini golf or throwing a ball over a net. After lunch, we played table tennis then golf. My favourite sport we played was mini golf and I had a really good muffin from the canteen there for recess.
