Northern Metropolitan Region Athletics Finals

On Wednesday 30 August Eltham High competed at the Northern Metropolitan Region Athletics Finals at Meadowglen Athletics Track in Epping. We had students competing in 31 individual events and 6 relays. 

It was great to see so many amazing individual performances with many athletes going home with medals and qualifying for the SSV State Finals. (first place in each event and first and second from the 3000m, 1500m and 1500m Walk events progresses through to the State Finals.)

The following student have earned their sport in the State Finals on Monday 16 October:

Ethan Armstrong Bourne (Year 10, Everard House) - 2 Gold

Ally Brooks (Year 10, Everard House) - 3 Gold

Charl Louwrens (Year 12, Stewart House) - 1 Gold, 1 Silver

Shaw Mercer (Year 12, Andrew House) - 1 Gold

Kaia Taig (Year 8, Stewart House) - 1 Gold, 1 Silver

Tatiannah Barker (Year 9, Everard House) - 1 Silver

Jack Beddoe (Year 7, Everard House) - 1 Silver

Kennedy Cesari-Ford (Year 9, Everard House) - 1 Bronze

Audrey Colbert (Year 8, Stewart House) - 1 Bronze

Congratulations to all athletes that competed on the day. Regardless of your results you have done Eltham High and yourself very proud.
