VCE Vocational Major
SES Tour
On Tuesday 29 August, our VCE VM class had a tour of the Nillumbik unit of the SES. Four people who work with the SES spent an hour with us. In that time, they spoke to us about what they do. For example, in floods they rescue people and help clean up. The SES also help with car accidents, when trees fall and help with animals too. We also looked at their tools and trucks. Then we did a mock rescue where we learnt how to find clues about where a person is. We had a good time and we learnt a lot.
