Guest artist for Year 8 Visual Communication Design Elective

In this week’s VCD Elective, our Year 8 students were fortunate to experience a design workshop with local artist and designer, Ivan Smith. Many of our students will be very familiar with Ivan’s artistic talent as he painted the wonderful wall mural in our MECS library space.

In class this week, our students were treated to a masterclass in cartooning, as Ivan helped students discover their creative gifts in learning to draw sharks, koalas and more.
