Deputy Principal News

What a year 2024 has been!

It has been a time of growth, challenges, and remarkable achievements, and as we move into the Christmas season and summer break, we hope this period offers you the chance to recharge and reconnect. Let it be a time to nurture tired bodies, minds, and hearts, and to celebrate all that has been accomplished.

As we look back on the year, we feel immense pride in your children and their approach to learning and school life. They have demonstrated resilience, perseverance, and a positive, growth-oriented mindset. From working hard in their studies to forming lifelong friendships and learning invaluable life lessons, they have truly embodied the spirit of excellence and joy.

This Christmas season is the perfect opportunity to slow down and reflect on their incredible growth throughout the year. We encourage you to savor precious moments together as a family, cherishing the milestones and memories made.

A Heartfelt Thank You

To our students and families, we extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the year. Seeing our students’ bright smiles as they share their learning achievements each day at the gate is a constant reminder of the strength of our community. Your encouragement and enthusiasm make all the difference.

We also want to celebrate the dedication and tireless efforts of our incredible staff. Their passion, creativity, and commitment ensure that our school remains a vibrant and supportive place for everyone. We are truly blessed to have such a talented and dynamic team leading the way.

A special thank you goes to Claire Tobin for her outstanding leadership. Claire’s continues to shine as a leader and, with her at the helm of St. Joseph’s, our school has continued to flourish. With her guidance, compassion, and vision, she has steered our school to new heights. It has been a privilege to work alongside Claire, and our community is fortunate to have her at the helm.

Looking Ahead

As we approach the end of the year, we wish each of you a joyful, safe, and very Merry Christmas. May your holiday season be filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. We eagerly await the return of our refreshed and rejuvenated students, parents, and staff on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

Here’s to an exciting year ahead, filled with new opportunities and continued success. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at St. Joseph’s!
