Our students have had so much fun on their end of year excursions, here what they had to say!
Our Middle School students went into the city for their end of year excursion. They got to walk through Queen Victoria Markets and look at the Myer Christmas Windows.
The theme this year for the Myer windows is Australia Zoo. Some of our students thought it was a bit of a strange theme because it wasn't a Christmas theme but they still enjoyed seeing the displays! They went up to level 6 of Myer and to Mural Hall to watch to with a show about crocodiles in the wild which they enjoyed!
They also went to the Queen Victoria Market where they got to do some shopping and they saw a SUPER tall Christmas tree which our students loved!
The kids loved that they got to buy anything they wanted at the market, which was some of their favourite parts!
Our Foundation and Junior students got to go to the Collingwood Children's farm as their excursion! They had so much fun visiting and seeing all the animals at the farm. It was great to see them so excited and engaged during their visit.
There were plenty of animals for the kids to see, including cows, horses, goats, pigs, and guinea pigs and chickens!
The kids even got to feed and pat the goat which they all LOVED. There was even a baby goat which all the students thought was so cute!
Eimear loved seeing the animals and the baby goat especially! May enjoyed the Guinea Pigs because she got to hold and pat them.
Jesse's favourite was the cow because he loves them! and Logans favourite was the goat because he enjoyed feeding it.
Crowd favourites by far were the guinea pigs, which Ricki-Lee, Emily and Zac loved.
The Senior students got to go to Mini Golf and Bowling as their final excursion of the year!
It was so great to see the students get so involved and competitive for both mini golf and bowling - we had some amazing golfers and bowlers in the mix that's for sure.
There were plenty of other people around at the mini golf, and our students showed such great resilience and respect, letting smaller groups through first, and supporting the other schools that were there playing as well - what a wonderful representation of KPS!
Some of our students favourite parts of the day:
"My favourite part of the day was spending the day with my friends" - Ashlyn
"Bowling was my favourite part because it was fun because everyone got a shot and there was great teamwork" - Dallas
"Bowling was my favourite because I got 105 points and it was my first time doing it" - Khai Khai
