A Strong Start to 2025
Last week, we launched our ‘Start Right’ approach, focusing on building a strong and inclusive learning community that naturally integrates our school values. Walking through classrooms, it has been wonderful to see students actively engaged in hands-on activities and discussions with their teachers. The schoolyard is once again filled with happy, smiling faces, and we couldn’t be more excited for the year ahead!
Our staff also commenced the year with two Curriculum Days, where they undertook professional learning on the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0. This research-backed framework supports our refined approach, focusing on explicit teaching and creating an optimal climate for learning—key elements in ensuring student success.
With a fantastic start already underway, we look forward to what 2025 will bring. Thank you for your ongoing support, and we can’t wait to share another great year with our wonderful school community.
I hope you have a wonderful week. Please feel free to pop in for a chat with either Carrie, Brendan or I, should you wish to discuss anything.
Take care,
Mr. Dale Blythman
