A big welcome back from holidays to you all. Pan Lao Shi and Wang Lao Shi have loved being back with you all, seeing new and old faces alike. This week we have introduced Chinese New Year celebrations across the school. 

Students in Year Six have decorated their 中文本子 (Chinese Books) with a Chinese Snake to celebrate the Year of the Snake and have also listened to bilingual stories about Chinese New Year. In Years Foundation to Five, students have not only decorated their front covers but also created snakes as classroom decorations to help celebrate the Lunar New Year. 

This week we began Chinese Word Study and started building on students' knowledge of different words and how they are constructed through sounds and meanings.

We can’t wait to see how Chinese language takes off around ENPS this year!
