 ‘Year-end perspective’

As another school year draws to a close, there may be many things that come to mind, probably a balance of positive and negative. Life is a tapestry of ups and downs, highs and lows. We can’t escape these life variations. We develop skills to cope with our sometimes ‘rollercoaster’ existence.

I wonder what your high points or low points are. A high point for me would be the birth of our 5th grandchild, Mabel. A low point would be the ongoing nature of war raging in the Middle East and Ukraine.

Australia has been labelled ‘The Lucky Country’. We certainly enjoy many benefits in our country. As I mentioned at the end of the Christmas concert, Christmas is a time to remember our blessings. Enjoy sharing those blessings with your family and friends, and with those in need, if you have the opportunity.

We recently collected items for families in need. The Temple Society was one of the recipients. Please refer to their CHAMPION flyer for those who need support.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone, a fun new year, and a bright start to 2025.
