Kookaburra Class
Hello 3/4 Families,
We have been getting through some quality learning in the 3/4 classrom. In Reading, the saga evloves... as Tara and Colin continue to read the book within the book in 'His Name Was Walter', and Walter's journey has taken him to a distant war. In Writing, students have been planning their narrative piece. In Maths, we have been dividing larger and larger numbers, and deepening our knowledge of how multiplication and division work together. Also, using 'Label Bar Diagrams', pictures and 'Short Division' to divide bigger numbers.
Reminders for parents:
*20 mins of home reading Monday-Thursday or 1 minute Fluency (if they bring their text home) *Reading Diaries brought in Fridays *Drink bottles filled with water daily
