Around the School

PREP B
Prep B have been busy learning to write information reports about insects! They explored how to organise facts, use an opening sentence and include interesting details in their writing. To celebrate their learning, students presented an assembly item called Backyard Buddies, where they shared their writing and insect diagrams. We are all so proud of their learning achievements in writing!

Library News
It has been great to get back into Library Club this Term. It is a great opportunity for the students to spend some quiet time reading or looking for new reads! There are a lot of books in the library and I don't know them all so it's great to be shown what gems have been found especially in the non fiction section of the library.
Book Club books have been ordered they will probably be here late next week. I am on camp this week therefor there was no library on Wednesday, most of the kids took home a few extra last week to tide them over.
Hope everyone had a great long weekend - happy reading!
