Learning Expo

Next Wednesday 26th June families are invited to attend our very popular Learning Expo!

Operating between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm, you will be able to immerse yourself in a world of Science!

Your children may want to pack an extra snack for afternoon tea in their lunch boxes to get them through the extended day.

Be sure to mark this date in your diary and be prepared to learn, discover and explore!

We ask that children stay in their Learning Communities for the duration of the Expo as they will be given time to walk through the Expo on Thursday morning.

School Reports and Portfolios

On Friday 28th June children will receive their Student Report for Semester 1 2024.

As is custom, the Student Report will be placed in your child's portfolio.  We ask that you read the report in conjunction with the learning samples included in the portfolio to gain a full picture of your child's successes across the first part of the year.

We ask that you return the portfolio at the commencement of next term so that we can continue to compile samples of your child's work.

Staff News

At the end of next week, Friday 28th June,  we will farewell Miss Katie McLaren who has decided to return to Scotland after ten months of living and working in Australia.

We thank Katie for her dedication to the children in Year 5/6M during the first two terms of this year. We greatly appreciate the care and support she has given to the children in her class. We wish Katie all the best for a safe journey home to her family and friends.

After the holidays, Year 5/6M will have a new class teacher for the remainder of the year, Miss Libby Napier. Libby is currently teaching Year 5/6R in Mrs Rogers' absence. Libby has regularly worked in the Year 5/6 Community this year so she is well known to the children.

Next term we will welcome a new Learning Support Officer to Corpus Christi School, Miss Mia Erbsland. Mia is well known to many of our children as she is currently working at our OSHClub Before and After School Care. Mia will continue working at the OSHClub during the After School session. Welcome Mia!
