And rising up, he rebuked the wind, and said to the sea: Peace, be still. And the wind ceased: and there was made a great calm. Mark 4: 39

This week the Gospel teaches us about Jesus calming the storm. Our students have reflected on how we can turn to Jesus when we are frightened and times are tough. We need to have trust that the Lord is by our side. 

This Gospel reminds me of the famous poem Footprints in the Sand.

Sacramental Program

Confirmation preparation evening: Next Wednesday 26 June 6.30pm in the Church.      All children and their parents need to attend this meeting.
