Student Leadership News

The Sustainability and Environment Team (SET) captain, Jackson attended school council last week to discuss the work his team has been doing at school.  Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 elects a SET Leader each year during transition activities. These students attend meetings and work on projects throughout the school. These projects include reducing litter and waste, recycling and improving our school environment. They are also responsible for World Ocean Day each year.

Jackson spoke very well and was able to discuss with School Council what students want in this area.
