Swimming Carnival

On Wednesday 19 February, our Years 2 to 6 students took to the pool for a fantastic day of racing, cheering, and House spirit at the Junior School Swimming Carnival. The weather was perfect, setting the scene for a wonderful community event, with many parents also joining us to support our swimmers.

Throughout the day, students challenged themselves in the pool, giving their best effort in every race. While no records were set, the focus was on participation, personal achievement, and having fun—all of which were certainly achieved!

A special mention must go to our six House Leaders, who played a vital role in assisting our younger students, leading the cheering, and keeping the energy high. They also took part in the much-anticipated teacher/student relay, which saw Butterworth take the win in an exciting finish.

Thank you to all staff, parents, and students for making it such a memorable day. The enthusiasm, encouragement, and House spirit on display truly made this carnival a highlight of the term so far!

PISA Sport

Each Friday, students from Years 3 to 6 proudly represent our School in the PISA Sport competition, competing against other local schools. This term, we have nine teams participating across a range of sports, including T-Ball, Modball, Softball, Rugby 7s and Cricket.

Beyond the competition, PISA Sport is a valuable opportunity for students to develop teamwork, communication, and resilience. They learn to support one another, show good sportsmanship towards their opponents, and embrace both challenges and successes with a positive attitude. These experiences help build confidence, perseverance, and a lifelong love of sport.

It has been fantastic to see our students giving their best each week and displaying great school spirit. We look forward to seeing their skills continue to grow throughout the season!
