Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope this newsletter finds you well! S37 has had a fantastic start to the school year, and we are excited to share some of the amazing things we've been up to since returning after the summer holidays.
Maths Learning: In Maths, we have been diving deep into the world of Data and Prime and Composite Numbers. We've learned how to collect, organise, and interpret data, as well as how to identify prime numbers and understand the differences between prime and composite numbers. The students have really enjoyed the challenge of solving problems related to these topics, and they are becoming quite confident in their abilities!
Literacy Learning: In Literacy, we have been working on writing biographies of inspirational leaders. Through detailed research, we have learned about the lives and achievements of people who have made a difference in the world. The students have worked hard to gather information from a variety of sources, and it’s been wonderful to see how much they've discovered. We’ve learned so much along the way, take a look at our final pieces of writing below!
Exciting Year 6 Camp: Next week, we are all eagerly anticipating Year 6 camp! The students are excited about the upcoming adventure and the opportunity to bond as a class. We know it will be a memorable experience full of fun activities and new challenges. It’s the perfect way to end this term with an unforgettable experience.
Loving Year 6: Year 6 is off to a brilliant start, and the class are loving every moment of it. The students are incredibly hardworking, curious, and passionate about their learning, and we are so proud of how far they have come already. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for us!
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to sharing more updates with you soon!
Warm regards,
Miss S and the students of S37
