ACC Swimming Champions

We are absolutely thrilled to share the exciting news that The King’s College has claimed a victory at the 2025 ACC Swimming J Division Carnival! Our students performed with determination, skill, and a tremendous sense of team spirit – and the results speak for themselves. Across a full day of tough competition, our team brought home 5 of the 7 major trophies, making it one of our most successful carnivals to date.

These incredible team results were backed by some outstanding individual performances. A huge congratulations to:

Noah B. 10N crowned Senior Boys Champion, with dominant swims across multiple events that helped lead the senior team to victory. His composure, grit, and race strategy were a standout throughout the day, particularly going from butterfly straight into freestyle relays!

 

Jamie M. 7K named Junior Girls Champion, showing fierce determination and fantastic technique in every race. Jamie’s performances helped propel the junior girls to a well-earned win and added a great energy to the team throughout the carnival.

 

From the Pool Deck:

It wasn’t just about medals – our team showcased what it means to compete with integrity and in the right spirit. They supported one another, cheered passionately from the sidelines, and represented our school with pride and positivity.

 

This result is also a credit to the students and parents who have supported our swimmers during training and led them with purpose and encouragement on the day. Thank you for the early mornings and the unwavering enthusiasm.

 

The ACC carnival is a major highlight on the sporting calendar, and this year’s event has truly been one to remember. We couldn’t be prouder of our students and the way they came together to achieve something remarkable. As a result of the win, we are now moving up into I division next year!  Let’s continue to build on this momentum as we move through the rest of the sporting year! Well done, King’s – champions in and out of the water!

Primary Interhouse and WACSSA Swimming Carnivals

Interhouse Primary Swimming Carnival

Our Interhouse Primary Swimming Carnival was a fantastic day filled with excitement, encouragement, and enthusiastic participation from all students. It was wonderful to see everyone giving their best effort, cheering on their peers, and embracing the spirit of friendly competition. Congratulations to Booth for taking home the swimming championships with 464 points, closely followed by Graham with 462 points, Elliot with 378 points, and Carmichael with 342 points. Well done to all for making it such an enjoyable event and a huge thank you to all staff who came along and supported our superstars throughout the day!

WACSSA Primary Swimming Carnival

 

On 1 April, our primary swimming team competed at the WACSSA Interschool Swimming Carnival, which was a thrilling display of competition, teamwork, and athleticism. Our students gave their all in the pool in very hot conditions. The King’s College put on a fantastic performance, securing an impressive second place overall! A special thank you to our swimming staff Cherie Savin, Raquel Pottier, Chelsea Allen and Hannah Girling for all their efforts in organising our students for their events.
