PRAYER
Look upon those who call to you, O Lord,
and sustain the weak;
give life by your unfailing light to those
who walk in the shadow of death,
and bring those rescued by your mercy from
every evil to reach the highest good.
Through Christ our Lord,
Amen

Catholic Education Week
Catholic Education Week commences Sunday 16 March. The theme for this year aligns with the Jubilee Year, a year of pilgrimage. During this week we will hold an Open Day on Friday 21 March. This will be an opportunity for us to showcase our school to the wider community and share the wonderful elements that make our learning environment the great place that it is. All visitors will be welcome to enjoy a sausage and partake in activities during the open morning from 9.00 to 11.00 am. Thank you to Leon Moussa who is organising the sausage sizzle.
The MACS Creative Arts Exhibition is also a feature of Catholic Education Week. The exhibition is held at the Catholic Leadership Centre from Sunday 16 March to Saturday 22 March and is open for public viewing between 11.00 am – 4.00 pm during this time. Our art work from a previous year is on show at the exhibition.
A family prayer evening is scheduled for this term. As previously indicated, the date has changed and we will now gather on Tuesday 25 March, the Feast of the Annunciation, from 6.30 to 7.30pm. More details will be provided in the coming weeks and we ask that you put this date in your diaries.
School Assembly
Due to our Open Day on 21 March and the 5/6 students being on camp on Friday 28 March, there will be no school assemblies on these days.
School Closure Days Semester One
Throughout the year we have four school closure days for staff professional learning and development. Our first closure day will be in Week 1 of Term 2, Thursday 24 April. On this day all staff will engage in first aid training.
Warmest Regards.
